It wouldn't seem right to send a newsletter out around Thanksgiving without taking the time to give thanks for the many wonderful people and blessings in my business and in my life.

It's easy to get so busy that we may forget to stop and take the time to reflect on all the wonderful things we have to be thankful for.

Here's my partial list ... hopefully it may inspire you to create your own, even if only in your thoughts.

I am thankful ...

  1. ...to live in a great country that allows me the freedom and opportunity to own and run my own business.
  2. ...for the men and women in the US Military, all of our elected officials (yes all), and our civil servants and dedicated volunteers all over the country and the world who work daily to protect, support, and defend that freedom.
  3. ...for the wonderful relationships we have established with so many of our clients, and for our new clients who are giving us the opportunity to earn their trust.
  4. ...for the fantastic employees who make up the MSW team, without whom our business would not succeed. Gretchen, Duane, Sherrie ... thank you!
  5. ...for my wonderful family and friends, who support me through all the highs and lows.
Mom, Du, Dad, Connie, Mike, Kim, Jeremy, Chris, Lew, and Arlene ... thank you!
  6. and last but not least ... to have the daily love and frequent laughs provided by my Bassett Hound, Baxter ... and our two Cocker Spaniels ... Bailey and PJ! Oh yes ... and our rascally rabbit, Bugsy.

We all have something to be thankful for this year. Think about your short list ... write it down, or just make a mental note. Resolve to tell at least one person on that list, out loud ... "thank you." You just might make their day ... and you'll probably feel pretty good about it too.

Happy Thanksgiving!
